I’m a sucker for any cocktail with bourbon in it but always feel like they’re not great in the warmer months. I feel like this version of the Manhattan is perfectly sippable and delightful in the warm weather so it ticks all the boxes!
Summer in the City Manhattan
They say the original Manhattan was made with rye, but obviously we had to make some changes. Orange hard seltzer and bourbon work great here for a nice, sippable whiskey cocktail.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup bourbon
1 ounce sweet vermouth
2 dashes bitters (like Angostura)
1 (12-ounce) can orange hard seltzer
maraschino cherries, for garnish
How to Mix:
✦ Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the bourbon, vermouth, bitters, and hard
seltzer. Mix.
✦ Strain into two glasses. Garnish each with a maraschino cherry
MAKES 2 DRINKS
