The packaging to this product is really nice yet simple and the product itself is very easy to apply. You can apply as much or as little as you want in order to get the desired result and I definitely feel it brightens my eye area. The only thing which I would say is a downside to this product is the price - yes it is good but I think it is a bit expensive for what it does!

I love, love, love this product. Like others, I use this on the outer and inner corners of my eyes, and also to highlight my brow bones. But I also discovered another use: I have a few fairly deep wrinkles on the bridge of my nose, my forehead, and laugh lines. I've found that I can really improve the look of those wrinkles if I fill them in with the sharpened Eye Bright, and then run my fingers gently across the wrinkles, leaving that lighter pink color in the wrinkles. It's amazing how much less noticeable the wrinkles are when I've done this.

This is one of my favourite 'anti-ageing' products from Benefit. I am 41 and it gives me a good 'wake-up' look for everyday makeup for work and home. The only thing is sharpening it. I bought the Benefit dual sharpener and this pencil is too large for the sharpener.

This seems very much like HighBrow, in different packaging. It works for its intended use; I do, however, wish it blended better - by the time I get it blended in, I've "worked" it so much that it's almost gone and therefore no longer providing good coverage.

Works well, but you need to get the hang of it

I got this because I had read some very good reviews about the effect of beige pencil on your waterline, to make you look more rested and lightened up. Well, this product does have that effect (and in a much more discrete way than a white shade of pencil), but I still think that an actual beige matte would look more natural. Because this product has a rosy shade and some shimmer, unless you blend it really well and take off the excess (it is also quite "creamy", so it smudges a little when applied), it is really apparent, you can really tell that I am wearing the product - which is not exactly natural... Try to apply it with less pressure than you would, blend it really well along the waterline and take off any excess with a Q-tip. That will do the trick and make it look more natural.

I love the color and slight shimmer of this pencil, but its consistency ruins it for me. It is very chunky, which I don't mind blending, but it just smears everything else around. Does not apply/glide well at all. Eye Bright is great for adding a little zing to the corners of my eyes, but again, the difficulty of application does not justify a Benefit price point.

great pencil, brightens immediately, like a whole nights sleep in a tube, lasts a while BUT as soon as the flash hit the face when this is used you will see white patches on the areas where eye bright was applied (your picture is proof) THANK God i took a quick picture at home so i could wipe it off before i went to an event where my friends and family were taking lots of pictures with flash. not a deal breaker if your not going to take photos but keep this in mind

I bought this pencil on a whim after it was mentioned to me by a friend. It's really good, definitely makes me look more awake than I feel. I put it in the corner of my eye and underneath my eyebrows. It's funny how such a little thing can make such a difference, and this is coming from someone who's usually somewhat makeup-sceptic! The only thing I'd say is that I'd like it to be a little softer, but it's still not like a hard pencil and goes on pretty well.

i don't always spend 20$ on a single makeup product but when i do, it's Benefit's Eyebright. seriously, i love it, i dont even need eyeshadow with it, just a little to the middle and inner corner of my lid, some brown eyeliner and a natural-looking mascara and BAM : perfect every-day-five-minutes-makeup. sometimes i even put a little bit on my brow bone, and blend, just for that extra-bright look :D also, i'm the kind that needs primer when i wear eyeshadow, but when i wear eyebright alone it doesnt need any! woa woa woa, it's magic!!

I like this product because it makes you look more awake even if you've slept just a few hours, and it also gives radiance to your glance if you apply it in your under eye area. A little in the inner corner of your eye, draw the tip of an arrow in the outer corner of your eye and then, smudge. The reason I didn't give it another heart was that it is precisely the smudging that gets a bit difficult sometimes, because the formula tends to be slightly dry, both in the pencil format and the format you find in kits such as Confessions of a Concealaholic, Smokin' Eyes, Brows a go go and Peek-a-bright eyes, though not so dry in the latter case, or so it seems to me. Otherwise, a very useful tool to add to your radiance.

I love this product, it really brightens your eyes and makes them appear larger. I wish it came in a cream rather than pencil, like in the "concealaholic" kit, but it still is amazing. Add a little "erase paste" for under-eye circles, dab this in the corners of your eyes, and BAM! Instant sleep for your all-nighters. The brightness stays for a couple hours, but this pen is portable so just throw it in your purse for a midday touchup.

I actually discovered this by accident - I'd bought a magazine & this came free with it. I just assumed it was some kind of concealer so I looked it up online. I like to wear eyeshadows, liners etc - my make up is all about the eyes and this is the finishing touch to it all. You put a couple of strokes either side of your eyes & wow - it brightens your eyes and makes your eyeshadow appear more vivid. Definitely a must if your another eye gal like me

Love this actual product, but don't like it in pencil form. Bought the Compact version and became addicted to it and was upset when I was told it's only in pencil form now. Because of this I'll stick to Lemon Aid in compact form which works good as a brightener eye foundation/primer also. Please consider putting Eye Bright back in compact form like lemon aid and then I will buy both! I miss eye bright in compact form, pencil clumps up a lot, has to be sharpened every 2 uses, and it is just not as creamy and fun to put on feels drier and harder to spread.

Easy to apply, instant results, could be better

I had heard so many raves about this product that I went out and bought two straight away, figuring I would use it every day (I do!). It absolutely does make my entire face 'perk up' simply by making my eyes look a whole lot wider - especially first thing in the morning. However, I have found (and this may just be me/my skin) that within a few hours, the product becomes dried out and noticably almost cakey. It does not look good a few hours after I've put it on, so I end up ducking into a bathroom to remove it and/or reapply it. I also wish the pencil was a few centimetres longer. It's so darn small! But definitely well priced, I will give it that. So all in all, I find this product (combined with mascara and ooh la lift as a first thing in the morning ritual, not to mention the only makeup I wear and comes off as a natural beauty kind of look) great as a 'look how amazing I can look first thing in the morning!' but probably lacking later in the day. Hope the review helped :)

I am actually shocked when I put this on in the morning...I look so much more AWAKE than I did 10 seconds before! I use Lemon-Aid to get rid of the purple circles under my eyes, but there's still a little redness in the corners of my eyes and under my lower lashline. I didn't really bother with trying to fix it until EyeBright came into my life. Bam! Gone! The pink looks fabulous and quite natural, and it brings out the whites of your eyes, while reducing redness.

eye bright was one of the first benefit products i ever bought. i really like it. if i have eyeshadows on, i'll use it under the brow and corner to brighten up my eye area or if i am not applying eyeshadow i will use this all over my lid and it wakes up my eyes and covers the natural redness my lids have. very creamy and glides on easy.

This is an excellent product. The pink may put some people off, but I promise it looks completely natural. This works wonders for my eyes, and really makes me look bright and fresh. I usually put it in the corners of my eyes and line my lids with it. Then I smudge it in so that it is not a stark line. If you haven't had your beauty sleep, this coupled with Erase Paste, will mean that people will be none the wiser. It is also excellent every day, as I wear it in school (where only foundation is permitted) and have got away with it, yet my eyes look visibly brighter.

This pencil is probably one of my favorite things from Benefit!! I have pretty bad allergies and get some serious dark circles under my eyes (ok ok the late night study sessions and partying don't help) but when I wear bright eyes (which is pretty much everyday) I look super awake and all signs of sleep depravation disappear. Dare I say that I look....bright eyed and bushy tailed? ;) If I'm in a hurry, and don't have time to do all my eye makeup I can get away with wearing just the bright eye pencil and mascara. If I need extra brightening I'll dab on Stay Don't Stray and then put the eye bright pencil on top of that. It works wonders. Can I mention again that I LOVE this product :D

I love this pencil, it makes my eyes look so awake even when I feel completely drained and tired. I use it in the inner corners of my eyes and just a little under the lower lash line. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes. Sometimes, I'll use it on/in the lower lash line itself which makes my eyes look shining and huge. I wouldn't, however, class it as a 'concealer' but it certainly makes your eyes more awake. It's the perfect colour too, not too pink, not too white.. :-)

Quick and easy pick me up for your eyes

I got eye bright as a present this Christmas, since then I've used it at least 2-3 times a week (some days I just don't wear eye make up) and I love the creamy texture, it's nothing like I would've imagined a pencil to be. I use this how I used to use my pink eyeshadow -- I put it on first before my eyeshadows, in the corner of my eyes and then line my eyes out from there about a third of the way then blend a bit with my fingertip. I've only noticed it clump or look cakey when I've forgotten to get some "sleep" out my eyes. This is a nice alternative to eyeshadow for brightening since the eyeshadow tended to get on my lashes a bit. I'm glad that I ended up getting eye bright, and I'd recommend it to anyone out there looking to brighten up their eyes. I also saw a great tutorial for using this for dark circles, which I don't have a problem with most of the time since I use eyecon, but I'm intrigued to try it out. All in all a great value!

So when I bought this, I had a tough time choosing between this and High Brow. I'm still not sure the difference! But I decided on this, and I think it's pretty great! I lightly draw marks along my brow bone to the outer corner of the eye and blend to soften some. It's just like a light pink highlighter. Then I draw a line along the inner corner of my eye, but do not smudge. I think this does make me look more awake, and is a very pretty inner-corner highlight, but the light color on the outer corner doesn't seem very helpful. I also think I prefer a yellow-y bone shade on my brow bone (I have medium skin). This would probably be best for fair and light skin tones with pink undertones, but I'd still repurchase.

I've been using Eye Bright for several years and can't live without it. I don't get the "cakey" appearance others wrote about--perhaps because I moisturize my skin very well before applying makeup. I use it under my brows and on the outer corner of my eye in a slanted line toward the outer edge of my brow. But my favorite use for it is between my eyes! Yes! I put it just above my nose on my forehead between my inner eyebrows. Try it! I always get complimented on my blue eyes and I think Eye Bright is the main reason.

couldn't ask for a better eye pencil

This pencil is so creamy and is the most beautiful palest pink. It looks great under the lower lashes; beneath your regular, darker eye liner on the outer and inner corners. The only problem I had was that if I used it on the inner lower lid, it would flake onto my contact lenses. Ironically, it also made my eyes appear more red. So I only use it outside of my lids, even on the browbone.

I use this product on the inner corners of my eyes, extending up and over the brow bone. It gives the impression of wide awake and refreshed eyes. The product, as stated in other reviews, does get cakey to the touch, but does not LOOK cakey. Since I don't touch my eyes throughout the day, this hasn't been an issue with me. This is one of the products that I wear religously every day, even if I don't wear anything else but finnishing powder. It blends so nicely that even without other foundation, it looks natural on my fair skin.

Hard for me to pick just one product to rate because I have so many and love them all! On a daily basis most of my face has Benefit on it, but eye bright is my first love: my pencil is worn down to a nub! I use it every day even if I don't have time for anything else. EyeBright is a good product, it definitely brightens the inner and outer corners. While the pencil is easy to blend , sometimes i find that the inner and outer corners are too bright in comparison to the rest. Other times works well, nice little finishing touch to the makeup regimen. Also, if one chooses a no makeup day, some face serum or light moisturizer (or even You Rebel!) and a bit of this in the corners will Eyecon underneath will do well.

Eye bright was exact pick-me-up I needed in my collection. Often times I'm at Sephora, not really needing anything but wanting something that will make a difference! Eye bright was exactly that! I bought this with really high hopes, but once I put my concealer on, the eye bright didn't even show up. I guess my concealer is light enough. It was tragic, because I really wanted it to be fabulous. Maybe it would work better for someone who doesn't use under eye concealer towards the inner corner of her eyes.
