Common Super-Smoothie Ingredients:

Spinach:
Spinach contains iron, fiber, protein, calcium, magnesium (which helps lower blood sugar!).  It helps keep your heart healthy – the list goes on for this super food!

Kale:
Kale is packed high with fiber and sulfur, which is great for detoxing your body and keeping you liver healthy and happy.  It’s also is a natural anti-inflammatory.

Lemon:
Lemons detox your body by flushing out toxins, boosting your immune system and keeping your colon healthy.

Pineapple:
Pineapple is great for your digestive system!  It helps keep your heart healthy and boosts your immune system, too.

Blueberries:
Blueberries, also known as the king of antioxidants, help improve ageing and are great for your cholesterol.

Mango:
Mangoes not only lowers cholesterol, they help to clear skin and boost your immune system.

Raspberries:
The raspberry is an antioxidant that also aids in weight loss and is great for keeping your heart healthy.  Raspberries also improve your eyesight.

Banana:
Bananas are high in potassium, which lowers risk of heart disease, lowers blood sugar and aid in digestive health.

Hemp Seeds:

Hemp seeds offer excellent nutritional value as they are rich in healthy fats, high quality protein and lots of minerals.

Chia Seeds:

3 Easy Smoothie Recipes Your Body Will Thank You For!

Lean Green Smoothie

When life gives you lemons…make green smoothies!

Ingredients:

  • ½ Lemon
  • ¼ cup Mango
  • ¼ cup Pineapple
  • Handful spinach
  • Handful kale
  • ½ tsp chia seeds
  • ½ tbsp. hemp hearts
  • ¼ cup water

Directions:

  1. Toss all ingredients into the blender and blend for 30-45 seconds on high speed.
  2. Add extra liquid if needed.
  3. Pour into chilled glass and you’re ready to conquer your day!

*If you use fresh fruit instead of frozen, add in a couple ice cubes to chill it and make it thicker.

Antioxidant Blast Smoothie

Starting to feel a little under the weather? This smoothie will boost that immune system and give you that energy to finish out your day (until your bed starts calling you!)

Ingredients:

  • ½ Lemon
  • ¼ cup Raspberries
  • ¼ cup Blueberries
  • ¼ cup Pineapple
  • Handful spinach
  • Handful kale
  • ¼ cup orange juice (I used no sugar added coconut water orange juice…yum!)
  • ½ tsp chia seeds
  • ½ tbsp. hemp hearts

Directions:

  1. Blend it all up!
  2. Add more liquids if needed
  3. Pour into chilled glass and enjoy

Cinnamon Banana Protein Smoothie

You just killed that work out! Now what? We have got you covered with this high quality protein-filled smoothie that will surely have your muscles thanking you!  YUM!

Ingredients:

  • 1 full banana
  • ½ tbsp. all natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp protein powder (I used: Hemp Protein Smoothie, Vanilla Chai flavor)
  • ½ tbsp. hemp hearts
  • ½ tsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Handful of ice
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk (you can use regular milk, coconut milk, soy milk etc.)

Directions:

  1. Blend away 30-45 seconds on high speed
  2. Use less milk if you want a thicker consistency
