How To Pack: Jewelry

Keeping jewels organized when traveling is a must.  There’s nothing worse than untangling a pile of necklaces or searching for a matching pair of earrings.  Here are a few things that I use to keep everything together and protected when jet-setting!

Most Versatile:
A Jewelry Roll, Stella & Dot – Roll With It, $42 (CDN)
This versatile jewelry roll makes it easy to transport your jewelry without anything getting lost. It has a removable pouch that snaps in/out, clear zippered pockets and snap down tabs to hold long necklaces in place. The removable pouch is a favourite of mine as its cylindrical shape holds all my bangles really well. Shown in Indigo Ikat.

For Delicates & Studs:
I wear a lot of delicate chain necklaces with charms as well as stud earrings and these can be hard to keep track of when travelling. I like to have necklaces separated so they don’t get tangled with each other and I like to keep my earrings in pairs so that I’m not wasting precious vacation time digging in a bag for matching earrings.
These are my favourites for travelling with delicate jewelry and small earrings:
Divided Pill Boxes, 3-Section Rectangle & 4-Section Square Pill Boxes, $1.44 each, The Container Store
These come in frosted white and a few cheerful colors. The larger compartment on the 3-Section Rectangle is great for small chandelier earrings or pendant necklaces.

Clear 7-Section Stacking Pill Organizer
, $2.90 each, The Container Store
This comes with an extra lid so you can take as many or as few sections as you need. I also love that they are clear and durable. This fits great in the Stella & Dot “Roll With It” Jewelry bag (shown above).
