I’m always looking for fresh new recipes – and when I say ‘fresh’, I mean salads and other flavorful ‘clean’ foods. Here I’m sharing with you some cookbooks that I found that have simple recipes with simple ingredients (no need to churn your own butter or go to some fancy specialty food store that’s only open until 4pm!). These books are filled with great grilling recipes (that way you don’t have to turn on the oven!) and fresh sides and salads. Most of them feature great desserts with fresh fruits and other seasonal picks!

Joyous Detox – Joy McCarthy ($19, Amazon.com). The subtitle of this book is “your complete plan and cookbook to be vibrant every day” and it really delivers!
Cravings – Chrissy Teigen ($21, Amazon.com). I love books that feature foods that I actually want to eat! This one is filled with delicious comfort foods and ones that are good for you, too!
Food Swings – Jessica Seinfeld ($17, Amazon.com). I haven’t been this obsessed with a cookbook in a long time! I picked this up last week and it actually got me to…wait for it...start meal planning like a grown up!
The Love & Lemons Cookbook – Jeanine Donofrio ($21, Amazon.com). My husband and I are like children when it comes to eating our veggies, so this book is extremely helpful in coming up with ways to prepare them in tasty ways!
Food, Health & Happiness – Oprah Winfrey ($21, Amazon.com). Oprah loves all the food that we all love – and now her favorites are in a book and in a healthy way! Eating should be a joyful experience and in this book she tells us how!
