Festival Style Must-Haves
For me a festival outfit needs to be a number of things: cute, comfy and wearable all day. Opt for cotton and other natural fabrics (avoid polys here), something that moves with you, breathes and can be cute from day to (hot) night. Layering may not be as effective as you want it to be here (i.e. you’ll have to carry around any layers that you remove). The right outfit needs the right finishing touches to be perfect! Consider the heat and humidity when choosing accessories. Think about which bracelets and necklaces won’t be disturbed by wristbands and lanyard passes! Here are my favorite festival accessories:
What I’d Wear: A wrap bracelet or a stack of stretchy beaded strings, a pair of statement earrings with tassels or feathers, and maybe a simple long necklace.
Festival Beauty Trends
There are so many super-fun beauty trends for festival season this year! I think I’m most excited about some of the hair colors and relaxed boho vibes. When it comes to makeup, you don’t have to tell me twice to wear glitter or something that sparkles! Here are my favorite beauty buys to finish your festival look:
What I’d Wear: Loose waves/curls because they handle heat and humidity better than straight locks. I might add/highlight in light pink extensions to some of the ends for a fun twist. I’d pack hair elastics in case I wanted to pull my hair up or back into a braid.
